It is a unique school of nursing with academic programs desinged primarily for preventive medicine. When the students, male and female, appeared in the auditorium to meet the visiting faculty from the Virginia Community College System, U. S. A., they looked like an army ready for battle.

These students enroll in various academic programs to learn how to educate people in the community in various areas of health: prenatal care, nutrition, hygiene, safe sex, physical fitness, and disease prevention and control.
